1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Radix DICOM ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Medical disclaimer

Radix DICOM is an educational and reference tool. It is not FDA-cleared and is not a medical device.

The app is designed for viewing DICOM images for educational, reference, and informational purposes only. It is not intended for primary diagnosis, treatment planning, or any clinical decision-making.

Always verify findings with a cleared PACS workstation or FDA-approved diagnostic display. The developer assumes no liability for any clinical decisions made using this software.

3. Free tier

Installations made before the paid unlock was introduced keep every feature at no cost. On newer installations, the first 3 distinct studies you open are free and stay free to re-open. Opening further studies requires the one-time unlock described below. The number of free studies may change in a future version. See the app's store listing (Google Play or the App Store) for the current terms and feature set.

4. Paid unlock

The app offers one optional in-app purchase: a one-time unlock that opens every study on your store account (your Google account on Android, your Apple Account on iOS). The following terms apply:

• Billing: Payments are processed by the store you installed the app from (Google Play Billing on Android, Apple In-App Purchase on iOS) and managed through your store account, not by the app developer.
• One-time purchases: a single non-recurring charge; access does not expire.
• Price changes: You will be notified of price changes before they take effect.
• Refunds: the store's standard refund policy applies. On Android, first-time buyers may also request a refund within 30 days by emailing the developer. On iOS, refunds are handled only by Apple: request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Use the app in a manner that violates HIPAA or equivalent healthcare privacy regulations in your jurisdiction

6. Intellectual property

The app, including its code, design, name, and branding, is proprietary. All rights reserved.

DICOM is a registered trademark of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by NEMA.

7. Limitation of liability

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM CLINICAL DECISIONS MADE USING THIS SOFTWARE.

8. Updates

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy.
